Still Not Sure?
Here’s what we usually get asked.
Do I need to book an Intro Call first?
No. If you already feel confident that Luna is the right fit,
you can choose your practitioner and purchase your care package directly.
If you’d rather talk things through first, the 30-minute Intro Call
is still there for you.
Who is this support best suited for?
Our work is best suited for people dealing with ongoing or more
complex health concerns — things like ADHD, hormonal changes,
gut issues, anxiety, low mood, fatigue, poor sleep, burnout
or a mix of everything.
Do I need an ADHD diagnosis to work with you?
No. You don’t need a formal ADHD diagnosis to work with us.
We start with what you’re experiencing and look at the broader
health picture from there.
Is this just about supplements?
No. Nutritional and herbal supplements can be part of your plan,
but they sit within a much bigger picture. We may also look at
pathology, functional testing, nutrition, hormones, gut health,
nervous system load and practical lifestyle factors.
Can I work with you if I’m already taking medication?
Yes. Many of our clients currently use medication or have used it
in the past. Our role isn’t to replace your medical care — it’s to
provide naturopathic support alongside it where appropriate.
Do I have to do functional testing?
No. We use standard pathology and, where clinically useful,
functional testing such as gut, genetic, hormonal or metabolic testing.
Testing is recommended when it may genuinely help answer a question —
not because everyone needs every test.
Do I need to change my entire diet?
Absolutely not. We prioritise realistic, sustainable changes.
If food changes are useful, we focus on practical strategies
that fit your actual life rather than giving you another impossible
wellness project.
Are supplements and testing included in the package?
No. Supplements, herbal medicines and testing are additional
because they’re individually selected for your needs.
We discuss what we recommend, why, and the likely costs before
you decide whether to proceed.
Who is this not for?
If you’re looking for a quick fix, a one-off appointment or simply
“tell me which supplement to take”, this probably isn’t the right fit.
Our approach is personalised and gives us enough time to understand
the bigger picture and adjust your support over time.
Do you work with men, teenagers and children?
Yes. We work with all genders and a range of ages.
Melanie in particular works with adults, teenagers and families.
Can I work with Luna online?
Yes. We offer in-person appointments from our Yandina clinic
on the Sunshine Coast as well as online consultations,
subject to practitioner availability and location suitability.
Kylie or Melanie — who should I choose?
Kylie has a particular focus on ADHD alongside women’s health,
hormones and more complex presentations. Melanie brings more than
20 years of clinical experience across mental health, gut health,
genetics and complex cases, including teenagers and families.
If you still have no idea, book an Intro Call and we’ll help you decide.
